I had a visit from Elizabeth, a member of “Team Talent” today. She came over from Dallas. She brought us a gift card from the 3-Day Team for Super Suppers, a bamboo plant and a bright pink “Team Talent” blanket. I can not have plants so John took the plant home. It was the first time to see any one from the group since our trip to LA. We reminisced about our LA weekend. It reminded me how grand our weekend was. She pampered my feet massaging lotion into the less tender areas and lightly oiling the tender areas. It rocked. Marti, my nurse, took a picture of the two of us.
For those of you that are thinking: What? Who is Team Talent? This is the group of 15 to 17 that was selected to participate in the 2008 Ad Campaign for the Komen 3-Day Walk. David and I traveled to LA shoot a couple of magazine, TV and radio ads. The day we arrived we were handed an envelope with our food allotment for the weekend. The accounting paper work identified each of us as “Talent”. We joked about it the entire weekend.

How fun for you! and a Lucky Bamboo is the perfect plant for you! Haven’t heard fm you today (Jan 1st, 2008). When I checked my e-mails this morning, Jim asked if I had any word from “Steph”…..says he awakened with you on his mind. Seems YOU are always on our minds! Can’t think of anyone we would rather be thinking of, just NOT under these circumstances.

It’s good to ’see’ you through the photo. Hang in there and thanks for the update…it sure helps to know what is going on with you guys. We’re still praying.

Today I saw for the first time one of the commercials and also viewed the 2008 webpage for the 3-day. You and David’s pictures are fantastic. Thank you for your updates I am learning so much.
