Scans Scheduled

Helena, my nurse practitioner at The Center, reviewed the lab results with me. They are not what we are wanting to see and could indicate possible progression of current disease (liver & bone) or a new location. It will be tricky scheduling with the holidays but we will attempt to get these scheduled and approved by insurance so we can have these completed next week. If you remember from a couple of weeks ago we anticipate the liver tumors are smaller and improved. From a physical exam, my liver is much smaller and the blood work for my liver is back within the normal range. UPDATE: The CT/PET scan is scheduled for Wednesday morning at 7am. We should have results by Friday; it is our regularly scheduled chemo Friday.
