Home Again!

Posted by stephanie on January 17th, 2008

AMAZING! They are sending me home today. They had talked it would be next week and I would need home oxygen as I continue to recover. Instead I am going home today without home O2. God’s power to heal should never be doubted. His grace and mercy are enormous.

Today before I left the hospital I received a couple of very special visitors: Kait and Chava from RadarWorks were in town from LA visiting with Komen to discuss a new project. They extended their stay a few hours so they could stop by and see me before they headed back to LA. I felt very honored for them to take time to see me. Lois and Jewel were also there.

    Stephanie,
It is hard for me to keep up with you girl! So I am catching up on you through your blog and reading all the tough times you have been having and also about the wonderful gift you received throuhg your sister and the donor. I miss seeing you at the clinic. I saw your mom at the Christmas Service there for patients, staff and caregivers. I had just lost my mum the day before and I was talking to your mom and telling her what a wonderful blessing she is to you and now since I’ve lost my mum, she blesses me and reminds me that mothers are so special in our lifes. I am griefing for mum, but it will get better and when I read your blog I realize how fortunate I really am, and how blessed I am to know you and your sweet sweet mom.
I hope I get to see you soon, you are such an inspiration to me and others. So please stop by my office and say hello next time you are in the clinic.
    Love and prayers
    Dot
