Today is Saturday and I started Course 2:1 of my chemo yesterday. It will be weekly chemo for 3 weeks. So far so good. We have tweaked the medicines to counter the side effects and believe we will be able to manage the pain and N&V much better. It’s like tuning a fine running racing machine to race the track it is running on. I saw Dr. Young and she is very optimistic the pain and side effects we are seeing are all “good signs” the chemo is taking it’s tole on the tumors. We really like the sound of this news. We have also made the decision to have our next round of “evaluation & tests” completed here in Fort Worth and not in Houston. We have bonded quite nicely with our team here in Fort Worth and at the current point in treatment this will not have any impact on the current plan.
